The purpose of this training is to provide information to contracted DBHDD Providers about changes being implemented in the DBHDD Criminal Background Policy 04-104. At the end of this training attendees will be able to understand:
1. How DBHDD will process Criminal Records Checks for Providers/Contractors
2. The changes in process that will occur as a result of the changes in policy 04-104
3. Why DBHDD has made these changes to current policy DATES & TIME: The webinar will be repeated on the dates and times below. You only have to attend one session. Registration closes the day before each scheduled webinar date. Login and access information for the webinar will only be provided to those who click below to complete the online registration.
Basic requirements: Basic requirements for the webinar are a computer/laptop with an active internet connection to view the presentation. Your computer/laptop needs to have a built-in microphone OR you can use a telephone/speaker phone to connect to the audio. A software download and installation is required when participating in the webinar from a computer/laptop that has never been used to access the GoTo Webinar host. We ask that you begin connecting to the webinar at least 20 - 25 minutes in advance of the session to allow sufficient access time. Regardless of how many people may be sharing a computer/phone to participate in a webinar session, each individual who is planning to attend must first register online and with GoTo Webinar using their own name and unique email address. However, on the day of the session you can have only one person log in to the webinar to share their computer/phone for a group of people gathered at one location. BUT will be prompted during the session to provide a group attendance list so that we can mark attendance for the individuals in your group. If individuals sharing a computer/phone fail to complete the online registration and provide a group attendance list we can't ensure that they will receive any follow-up information or handouts that the presenter might offer.
CEUs will not be given for this training. However, participants who complete an online feedback survey will be able to receive a certificate of attendance. A link for the feedback survey will be sent after completion of the session.
